The tutorial is optional, you can skip it and get all the resources instead of doing it if you are familiar with the game already. The tutorial is there to teach users about the basic windows and functions of the game so that they don't have to spend time switching between a guide and the game itself. At that last stage of the tutorial you can simply stop doing it and close the tutorial if you wish or skip it. Now that this end protection option is here you can end your protection and then finish the last step of the tutorial.

Players making accounts to farm like that will not like one of the features we added into the game ;). I won't go into details for security reasons but I can tell you that we have implemented a feature specifically to combat this type of abuse.

The big deal is breaking your protection early by sending out a squad makes no sense, there is no advantage to being out of protection if you do that. Having this feature allows you to choose when to get out of protection and the sooner you do the more benefit you get. Using this button could potentially get you upwards of 5000 metal and oil whereas sending out a squad gives you nothing.

It's a very good idea. Gives players more freedom of choice, and gets the round going faster. Good players can choose the resources, while new players can observe from protection.

Well the problem I see with this is that if your not in protection your structures will build slow...
